I have told a lot of things about what I believe and like. I have started two clubs in Facebook. I started them before I started this blog but only now decided to share them.
The two clubs that I started are “The Hippopotamus Alliance” and The Two Dollar Bill Club.”
The Two dollar club is an environmental help club. Around the world many countries no longer print $1 or I Euro etc. In the U S people are too lazy to make the switch. We have always (almost) had $1 coins but few use them. $2 bills cost half as much as $1 bills. Think about it . What uses more paper, ink or fuel for shipping, 1000 $1 bills or 500 $2 bills? People complain about carrying $1 coins. Ask yourself, how many 1’s do you carry anyway? The coins are only slightly larger than quarters. The average $1 bill lasts 2 years. Coins last more than 70 years. Not only would we use less resources but we would reduce the price of the mint. The government has no money, they use our tax money. Of course they would not send any back. They would waste it somewhere else but still that is better. If they dropped the $1 ‘s and pennies, there would be room in the registers. Check out my club.
